fitting cams

    i have pugsport cams, just wondering what other parts i will need for fitting? also how easy is it to get the oem sprockets off the original cams.

    all i did when fitting mine was buy new camshaft seals i believe, didnt change anything else, didnt think i needed to, i think some go for new springs and followers, but i didnt bother. personal choice, my cars on 60k so didnt think i needed to.

    actually i got the cambelt changed at the same time, also did head gasket just for the hell of it

    what are the specs on the cams? will they need solid lifters? uprated valve springs? retainers? whats the mileage on the engine, you might need new followers if its old... etc etc...

    cup cams are not a solid grind cam.

    so will be the same as when fitting most hydro cams

    wouldnt of thought that he needs solid lifters, thought they were only needed when getting a wilder cam? if hes just going for cams cant imagine it being too wild, if they are the pugsport ones im thinking of they are mild i would imagine its them

    am i right paul lol?

    i've had no experience of the pugsport cams, but ryan seems to know

    just chuck the fuckers in, change the camseals and cambelt
