top end engine rattle

   hi everyone.im new to all this and i have just picked up my vtr. i have noticed that im getting alot of noise from the tappets. are they adjustable? or hydraulic? i belive the vts 16v are hydraulic but unsure about the vtr 8v? if so has anyone here adjusted the valve clearances? if so has anyone got the info for clearences? regards dan

   Yes they are adjustable, vts is hydraulic and self adjusting.
   
   Buy yourself a haynes manual, easy illustration and step by step guide.You will need a feeler gauge and some basic tools.
