just wondering is it worth doin a vts convertion on my Vtr ?
or would i be better off spending the money on my current engine ??

get the VTS engine mate, then you have more scope for future mods.
however, i didnt go for the vts engine.

i recon it will be cheaper to do vtr
and alot less effort

Its cheaper to buy a VTS engine than make a VTR engine as quick as an S

as above. pound for pound it can be cheaper to do the conversion, but nowadays finding a good condition vts engine is getting harder as many people are doing this conversion. other side of the coin is be different and tune up the vtr.

If its power your after you would be far better off just turbo charging your VTR. Even the most basic kit will easily out perform a VTS swap. You also have far more scope for tuning once you start talking about boost.
