lacquer run on wheel refurb!

   just resprayin some vts alloys and when doin the last coat of lacquer i noticed in some places that it built up and started to run....if i let the lacqer dry for 24hs and sand it with some 1200 wet and dry and then another coat of lacquer, would this get rid of the runny marks?

   yeah it should get rid of them as long as you sand it smooth. just make sure the runs are completely dry before trying to sand them down. obviously they will take longer to dry than a normal coat of lacquer so give it plenty of time. if you rush it you'll end up having to paint it again.
