    how dose the carbon scoop attach to the front of the car? dose it need drilling into the slam panle? also in the bag of nuts and bolts there is a little metal bracket, dose that bolt onto the metal thing were the origonal indunction pipe whent? if you dont kno what i mean ill take pics when i get to that stage, thanx

    I drilled mine to the slam panel.

    And you don't need to use the bracket thing...

    so i could just remove the origonal bracket yea? and you ony have to drill the top part yea? did you use self tapping screws or bolt it? thanx

    the scoop is on the slam panel to much so if i cut the rubber pipe down that goes to the inlet would that move it away from the slam panle?

    I had to cut my silicone pipe to about 1/2 of what it was because of some kind of reservoir... it just brings it left a little bit.
    What engine is it?

    its a 1.1 lol, witch way dose it go? one way it fits without cutting it and the other way it dosent, just put it the way it fits? any pics?

    rite its on and working but its not bolted or screwed to the car propa, anyone give me any advice? like how high, were to screw it, and whaat to use etc etc? and i would be very greatfull if people would post pics to help me, thanx very much

    I went to halfords to get some stereo mounting brackets, and made the brackets in that guide above. they do the job perfectly.
    I only needed one (2 pack for £3), and you should be able to see where they go- at either end of the enclosure.
    Drill 2 holes, screw in 2 self tappers, and job's a good 'un!

    I made up 2 brakets for mine and moved the scoop as far down as i could. sorry for the naff pics but they might help.

    I made brackets out of some metal strapping stuff and got a couple of nuts and attached it to the slack on the nut that holds the radiator on. If you look on your car theres one either side. Worked a treat

    could i cut a hole into the front of the slam pannle to let more air into the scoop? would it be safe? and would it make any differance?
