    6quid on ebay mate

not bad just washers and alli tubeing
  9. #9
    how do they actually fit??
  10. #10
u have the standard bonnet boots that are short that bolt to ya bonnet to the hinge

they are longer with a long bolt with a tube or block that they go tho and holds it bout a inch apart making it sit a inch or so higher when bonnets shut.

ive used blocks before on my rsturbo

    hope that helps chap

exactly what people are saying for looks on most cars

if your running big power ie turbo, supercharger or TBs then yeah id say go for them
  23. #23
Just ordered a set, not sure if they'll help or if they'll look any good, but thought i'd give them a go!!
  24. #24
Bonnet raisers, only suit big power turbo'd cars IMO...

Do look cool none the less, but its another one of those, 'why' mods if you dont actually need them... (although in your case you do! )
  25. #25
there is quite alot of problem on saxos with the cooling system its aparently a common problem
  26. #26
What purpose do they serve?? If any?? I love the look... Just wondered really...

  29. #29
Yeah... they look good. How long did it take you?? do you have to have bonnet pins??
  30. #30
i removed mine last night im sure they will go back on at somepoint
  31. #31
2 min job to fit but its a 2 man job

or in my case you need 2 kids (8/9years) 2 quid and me hahahaha
  32. #32
i have always done mine on my own just remove one screw and slacken the other one off slide the raiser in and do up the bolt finger tight. repeat till both sides are done
  33. #33
yep did mine my self pretty easy job i just lent the bonnet on my shoulder and undont the bolts etc and put new ones in, one side at a time

this was what they look like

wouldnt say u have to have them just if u want them really?
  34. #34

  40. #40
top of my progress thread shows what mine look like, not particularly focussed only on the raisers though but will give you an idea.

    http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=181946

not to most peoples tastes but i put a saxo stealth sticker down the part of the bonnet which was raised to try and prevent people telling me my bonnet was open....

doesn't work but its grown on me and is a lil different
  41. #41
