Alarm LED flashing speed?

   Im been searching on how to wire up a flashing led to my car but was wondering how i would change the flash rate of the led to around 20 per minute instead of the usual 100 per minute. Apparantly i need a relay? Any help or advce would be great,
   also for people who have done it, where exactly is a permanent live and a switchable live? thx

   Reckon your best bet would be a capacitor, or is it a transistor? Been a while since I did electronics lol, either way, it stores energy, and builds it up, until a certain amount is reached, then releases, this should slow down the flash rate, you'd need to work out what size you'd want though.

   I did mine on the wires from the headunit, probably best to use these. Positive to permanent live (yel) and negative to switched live (red). That on a non standard hu, i think the standard ones are grey and grey, (!!) not sure which is which though.
