Best way to clean!

   hey guys, whats the best way to clean your engine? as mine is discusting!!

   take everything apart individually and give it a good scrub and polish
   
   or if you dont have the time or patience for that - a steam clean is probably best, but keep it away from the electrics

   or buy a can of engine de- greaser from halfords etc. paint it on, leave for 10 mins then wash off with warm water does the trick but as wideboy said, keep electrics dry!

   Auto Glym Instant tyre dressing is great for plastics under the bonnet. It brings them up like new. (To avoid overspray where it isn't wanted, spray it onto a cloth first and then apply). It's also good for tyres, like it says on the tin (or bottle!)

   i just use some elbow grease,soapy water,dry rag and a tooth brush. (coke) works as proven on mythbusters but would not reccommend
