caming a 1.1?

    hey is it possiable to cam a 1.1? or like would 1.4 or vtr cams fit in it at all?

    and does anyone no of any mod's i can do im already putting bike carbs on

    i no most of you will say to put a vtr or vts engine in but i just dont have the time! as im doin a engine and restore on another car just want to make my 1.1 that little bit quicker

    any help would be gr8 cheers

    What mods have you done so far mate? First step is to look at doing basic breathing mods if you haven't already. It is possible to cam a 1.1 but ultimately it depends on how much you want to spend and level of power you want to achieve

    I know you say you dont want to go down the VTR engine route. But caming and bike carbs on a 1.1? Ist it really worth it, unless your just doing it to learn stuff?

    r right didnt relise its a repost

    well ive got a exuast on it and going to get a pipercross filter for it

    whos makeing the cams?

    and wil a vtr or 1.4 cam fit in the no?

    Ok now ive searched this and cant find nothing so im going to post

    if its been asked sorry

    but could i get a 1.4/vtr/vts throtal body to fit my 1.1?

    seen as my m8 wrote his vtr off thers goddies on the engine and im just thinking

    are they the same fitment can i make it fit?

    sorry about spelling but if some one can come back would be awsome

    Cant see the point in camming 1.1 just waste of money i say yes if it was vtr or vts....or even 1.4

    yeah cams are off just read on here that a 1.4 head fits onto some 1.1 engines..

    is this true as well!?

    all i no is a i got a 1.1 x and the rockercover looks like a vtr one lol

    if thats case may as well ram a 1.4 head and boddie on it

    i say go for it with the mods you are thinking of, always good to see someone tune'up a 1.1,

    anyone kno if you were to put bike carbs on a 1.1 could they just be converted to a vtr if you decided to upgrade to a vtr? because thats what im thinking, am i wrong?

    if the manifold are the same as a vtr yeah just u probley have to rejet the carbs imgessing

    any on answer my question about a 1.4 head on a 1.1 block?
