any point to induction kit on a 1.1?

   just wondering if i should save my money and not bother - just wait till next year when i get my vtr and do the whole induction thing then.

   not much performance value on a 1.1 m8 on on bigger engines like 1400cc's and vtr/vts buddy not really worth the money..

   im pretty sure GSMotorsport once said 1.0 and 1.1s will ac tually lose power to the heatsoak...

   I'm pretty sure someone posted on here about a loss of bhp after fitting a raceland enclosed induction, and that was with a VTR or VTS!

   if you get one on your 1.1 then you can just put it on your vtr

   Hes got a good point ^^ You can pick the enclosed kits up for pretty cheap these days too.

    i got a raceland for 35 and if i keep my car till next year ill get a vtr engine and i plan to just swap it over

    i had an k&n filter on my old 1.1 sounded ace duno if helped to much for performance but sounded real goood
