WHAT ELSE DO I NEED? turbo kit.

   what else would i need for this turbo kit, lookign at what you get its a bit sparse, just wondering what else i would need to set it all up properley, excluding a remapp i already know that. all help appriciated.

   Remapp? i didnt think you coukd map a standard ECU to work with forced induction, though you needed to run standalone management? but...
   
   Air filter, Intercooler, ideally uprate your internals, ie pistons etc.. oil cooler maybe, oil catch tank...

   You would need low comp forged pistons and rods, uprated clutch, bigger injectors, intercooler and pipework including air filter, oil cooler kit, bigger brakes, uprated suspension (optional but recommended). There is probably more but that’s the main components, along with all the bits and pieces you would normally replace when rebuilding an engine, including a thicker than standard, steel headgasket.
   
   Jowe is correct as far as I know, you cannot remap a standard ECU, you would either have to piggyback it (not ideal for a boosted car) or run standalone – which is the best option.

   bigger injectors, standalone ecu and remap, forged rods and pistons, oil cooler and a bigger exhaust system.
   
   pieter at dp engineering can sort out exactly what you want, drop him an email and explain what you are looking for. he really does know his stuff.
