Thoughts on 106 cage

    Whats peoples thought on this:

    Will it fit a saxo, (without modifications to cage, i know about dash cutting)
    Any pics of it in a saxo / 106?

    Help is appreciated and repped

    people do seem to have issues fitting 106 cages too saxo's espically omp equipment. Good fitter should be able to sort it though

    do you have to cut the dash for that cage?.

    iv got a 10 point omp 106 cage in my vts and very very tight fit as the dash on a saxo comes out further than a 106 dash as u can see in the pic

    it depends tbh
    sublte differences in the cage wll make a difference

    for instance lewisimo
    es got an omp 106 cage and had to muller quite a bit out of his

    thats true im sure omp is not the best fitting cage u can buy as they dont make any cage the same as the next one at the omp factory ha ha

    Thanks guys, will probely buy it because the car is going off the road for a few weeks in january to get everything fitted at once. Godfather is an amazing welder aswell so he said he'll come and fit anything i need. woo (custom battery box on the way lol)

    yea they remove the cage from the jig after tacking tha cage up
    s when they fully wld the cage it warps
    companies like safety devices leave the jig in place to fully weld the cage so they cant warp

    but any good fitter can get the omp to fit
    they just require 'massaging' into place

    may i ask what the intended use of the car is
    as on a daily car a cage probably isnt the best think
    becomes quite confind in the car
    and the amount of people who have bashed there heads is stupid tbh
