Spacers

    been looking into getting some lenso rs5's but the shop on ebay i was going to get them from took the listing off and when i emailed him with car details asking if he still had some he said no because they wouldnt fit , i then asked about spacers and got this reply ;

    We do not recommend fitting spacers, done this before had nothing but problems so avoid these at all costs.

    i know a lot of people on here use spacers so wanted to know if there are any problems or whether i should just get the wheels and spacers.

    Think it depends on what spacers you get mate. I brought some shite universal ones for my wheels and everytime i braked while driving the whole car juddered.

    I think most people use the proper hubcentric spacers, more expensive but dont cause any problems.

    hmmmm , anyone got a link to some good spacer kits , i had a look on ebay but they were all universal ones.

    as said, hubcentric spacers are what you want mate

    just want to check again before i order the wheels , can anyone else on here who has bought the cheaper spacers comment on them i.e any good or wished you had bought the correct offset so you wouldnt have had to use spacers or think its worth the extra money for the better ones mentioned on here ?
