Magnex Exhaust Full Cat Back System

   I'm thinking of getting a Magnex full system for my VTR - http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...product=420423
   
   what's everyones opinion on this? I was either going to get this or a Supersprint.
   
   loud? quiet?
   
   pictures/videos?
   
   Also, are Europerformance good to buy from?

   not dealt with europerformance but i have seen a few magnexs
   they seem ok quiality wise tbh but i dont like the note they make
   there sort or average noise levels aswell
   louder than standard but not overkil
   
   tbh all exhaust threads lately get filled with people shouting about supersprints
   so expect that lol

   thanks for the heads up Alex, i don't want anything too loud, jut something a bit louder than standard; so perhaps a Magnex would be ideal for me?

   yea sounds like it might be
   my mate had 1 when he bought his car and it wasnt bad
   did catch the middle box a few times but he was lowered about 60mm
   
   had 1 on my 205 aswell was reasonable on volume even on the 1.9 lol
   
   but i prefer a louder system lol

   mines lowered 55mm, should be ok like - i'll do a few searches on YouTube of different ones and see what's what, thanks again for the info mate

   yea there were only a few places it scraped and there pretty bad bumps tbh
   
   you shoul be ok in most places but it can be close lol

   magnex have gone bust too, so might not be able to get hold of them anymore,
   they seem to be quite restrictive too imo

   Does yours have the CAT in the manifold Jacko? If so, you will need a decat pipe with that kit as well - another £60 IIRC.
   
   I've got a single box system for sale (see my sig) which includes the decat pipe. Because there's no middle box, it sits much tighter under the car meaning it won't scrape off any bumps etc.
   
   I'm just in the process of boxing it up to get a quote for postage. You're quite welcome to collect if you're interested in it!
   
   Video of mine with a Supersprint manifold. With the standard manifold and CAT it was quieter but still had a nice roar when making progress.

   not much like but everyone says there quiet, they are until you give it some revs, its a good thing tbh, wont annoy the neighbours and great on motorways
   
   also worth noting magnex went bust, so might not be many about soon and also the warranty/guarantee wont stand now

    EDIT : listened to it with my earphones and sounds better

    tbh my camera doesnt capture sound all that good, has to be heard in person, when i come round the corner is when i was giving it some about 5k a think

    Magnex is perfect for me ... Not very loud until you give it some rev's, and doesn't make your ears bleed on the motorway.
    
    They are generally a very good fit as well ... But like Pred says, they've gone bust so finding one will become increasingly harder.
