Yeah you can use the back seats with buckets in

    Edit:
Might be an idea to get a rollcage if your getting buckets and harnesses. Check with insurance if your allowed first though.

but if you get a roll cage, then dont keep rear seats

and if you get harnesses, dont keep rear seats.

    all or nothing

i ran harnesses and rear seats
was a pain tbh but it worked

vtr seats arent much better than westy seats for keeping you in place either

personally id say get sport recliners and keep your standard belts in there

hmm, yeh, im not keen on removing the back seats as most times im relied on for lifts and it would make the car unpractical so...any recomended sport seats? ta guys.

    there recliners ^^^

buckets are fixed seats and do not move

    my old interior
    omp recliners
    106 gti rear bench
sabelt 3 point harnesses with a release behind the seat (i ran them to the top of the rear seat belts to keep them out the way) the bottom pic shows the release (just about anyway)

worked ok but was a pain to keep reconnecting the harnesses all the time

pretty sure its illegal to have fixed buckets in front and rear bench still in car if you are carrying passengers

not illegal as far as i know
but it causes issues getting in the back lol

id never go in the back of a car which had harnesses in the front.

id rather not get garroted in the event of an accident.

    maybe thats just me

    yea same tbh
my back seat came out after about 2 weeks lol

the harness was at the perfect height to do some noce damage to your throat in a crash

Pretty sure its due to what would happen in the event of an accident, must always be able to get out of the car easily with no obstructions im sure.

My old xr2 i bought with standard buckets but rear bench still in and thats what i got told off the owner as he had been pulled up by the police regarding it
