i have a mk1 vtr (1999) went to get an after market fule preasure regulator and the guy in the shop said he was sure the you cant / no point in fitting one (due to the original 1 being buried in the engine or summet not quite sure wat he said...)

    is this true?

    can i fit 1?

has ne1 got 1 and what differance have you seen?

iv already got k&n induction kit
im looking to also add manifold, de-cat, cam, stripped out

    any other ideas?

    thanks tom

has your car been lowered? bigger brakes, like the 266mm set up from a 206 gti or another pug/citroen. with a cam its best that you get the ecu remapped. i think the fuel pressure regulator only fits the black top vtr's, could be wrong though. look at getting an enclosed air filter as open ones tend to suck the warm air in from the engine bay. look at kam racing and look at the raceland enclosed with the green filter. for a manifold, how much do you want to pay? racelands are quite cheap, but fitting can sometimes be a pain. supersprint are very good and janspeed too.
