sun strips?

    hey hey.
    are sun strips a good idea?
    speshly now in this time of year when the sun tends to sit low and late after noon consists of driving blind with your visor down
    plus i rate they look pretty good...thing is. my westie is silver!
    and a silver sun strip wudnt look gd would it?
    then again theres blk as ive gone for the blk/silver look anyway but haha, image that

    silver? anyone?

    most guys on here dont like them

    im thinking o may put 1 on my westy (a tinted one not a solid colour) but its functional as i have no visors due to heavy amounts of stripping lol

    i think in the right sircumstances they can look good but dont suit most cars

    As above some people don't like them but I love them on black cars, i'll be getting one soon as I am fed up of bein blinded by the sun plus they look good imo

    But end of the day it's your car so it's upto you

    They're also illegal if the windscreen wipers brush over them. So you're "really" only allowed them if they're 2" deep or something, so not really worth it.

    However, I'm 99% lettering is still ok on the top if the wipers brush over it.
