Which to go for....40mm or 45mm?

Well the times has come where my saxo needs to get lowered as it is sitting like a hummer! I plan on getting some lowering springs, and getting the torsion bar to match, i will uprate dampers at a later date, but for 40-45mm it isn't really neccesary!

Anyway as title says, which one to go for, 40mm or 45mm?

I know there isn't a lot in it, just wanted people views and opinions.

What's the ride like on 40mm, can you notice any difference in handling?

    What springs you down on?

Atm ride is shit because i have a clunking problem but thats not down to the spax kit, handling - spax psx kit, upper and lower brace its amazing, way way better than standard, im running spax springs and adjustable dampers

40 front 45 rear (as 9x10 the rears on the saxos are higher so will be 40/45 to sit right i would imagine)

I find ride harder but certainly better and stiffer, need new drop links at moment so i'm off the spirited driving.

as mentioned, the car is higher for a reason...its why the saxo as standard is really good at handling.

It you drop 45mm, then the back should be 40 i would have thought....if you get the torsion bar to match the front, then the back end higher up like on the standard cars, and possibly loose some handling ability?

    Am i wrong?
