Remap?

   Hello
   
   I havent got a saxo but had one previously and this seems to be the best site for advice on any car. I have a Twingo GT Turbo. Its only 1.2 and have found a tuning company who can remap the engine and claim they can get upto 27bhp extra from a simple remap.
   
   Surely this cant be true without engine mods?

   well they may be able to squeeze that out of your lump, but it wont be too health for the engine x

   seems reasonable, itll get most of the power due to the turbo, diesels get alot of power from remaps too and most of time better fuel economy due to a better map.

   most small turbo'd cars run a low boost from the manufacturer. all i would a imagine they do (not really into turbo's a mapping) is nudge the boost up a bit a map the air to fuel ratios. 27bhp is possible 9not sure how good it would be in the long run for the litlle 1.2 but... Most remaps on turbo'd cars get good figures, petrol or diesel. look at the vag engines for example.
