Exhaust Trim?

  1. #1
    Hi there,
contemplating whether to buy an exhaust trim from halfords,

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_22 4067_langId_-1_categoryId_165537[/URL]

looks pretty nice, only wanting something to look better,
not fussed about performance, as only a 1.1!

    anybody have these/had these?
    views/comments?

    thanks

Not neccessarily. Should just clamp onto your current middle section like your backbox does atm. Try www.tuning.co.uk and look at the Sportex ones. They are cheap, bewlow 100£ and are a good fit. Sound good too

but you just want something to look a bit better just get a cheap backbox, there are some on ebay etc that will bolt onto your existing pipe just unbolt the backbox n put the new one on

Should be alright, may have to cut a liny lip out of your bumper to get it fitting properly.

Jack rear end up, 13mm spanner, undo the two bolts on the clamp which holds the backbox to the centre section. Take backbox off. Put the new one on. Line it up properly. Put clamp back on, tightin bolts. Sorted
