Right, the dummy shock isnt needed and is only a tool to make it abit easier!

What i did was bash the bars out of the arm while there is a jack jus touching the bottom of the drum or disc, then measure the distance from arch to middle of the drum then say its 400mm u then take 40mm off so when the arm has been raised towards the arch the measurement should be 360mm to lower it 40mm! then put the bars back in, u may need to jiggle the arm abit to get the bars to go in both sides!

The suzuki tuning guide is better tbh!

take the torx bolts out, take the fiddly little washer out of where the bolt jus came out then try and pull the bar out, either by using the bolt and washers method or strap the beam so the arms dont move and use a slide hammer!

the washer behined the torx wouldnt come out on the left hand side i didnt even ter the right, the washer looked like it had droped down into the housing its in, i took sum pics but i dont kno what they will be like as it was dark, ill get them up in the next 20 mins, aanyone else had this problem?

there offset washers, there meant to be in the groove to stop the bars moving! What i do is get a phillips screwdriver and put it in threaded part of the bar and try and drag the washer out of the groove and then flick them out, you think its difficult taking them out, wait til u try putting them back in lol if there stuck jus give them a tap with a hammer coz the bar might be putting pressure on the washer!
