    hello,

I've attached the pipe that goes into the cda box coming from the orginial air intake tube thingy, is that the best way having this all connected or is there another way to gain more cold air?

with the piping you have id say yes but if you got a longer piece of induction piping you could have it down near the lower grille and attach it with cable ties or if you want to go the whole hog you could remove your fogs and have it where one of the fogs was?

doesnt it make a difference if the pipe is longer to the cda airbox? like the air taking more time to travel up and through the pipe and into the cda airbox?

i dont think it would make a differance having longer air-duct cos its a constant flow of cold-air, the only down-side is the two kinks in the pipe!!

which two kinks would those be mate?

I think he means two bends in the pipe...don't think that would make a difference though.

all the civics etc have the long intake systems going in2 the wing n places like that so id say as long as nothins loose or likely to fall off as your travellin down the road your pipe work to the throttle body could be as long as you like! the cooler the air goin in, the better
