Hi there i have just inhereted a saxo VTS 2001. Its a nice car but driving the other day i noticed that the car kept jumping out of 2nd gear?? its weird..can anyone suggest if gearbox is def knackered or if it could be something like selection linkages?? if it is the gearbox what'll go in do i have to get a VTS box or will VTR or lower model fit?? Also the steering feels mighty heavy to be honest and i cant hear the power steering pump so i think its shot, wheres the best place to buy or get a hold of one? or is there some sort of relay inline with it that may be shot?
