front suspension problem

   3 months back when i was having my gearbox fitted i was told that the front wishbone bushes will need changing soon.
   
   The problem now tho is that the front suspension feels very loose and i can hear like a joint knocking sound when driving!
   the car is lowered but the ride feels harsher now
   
   does anyone know if this could be the wishbone or track rod ends?
   
   any help is a preciated thanks

   well if you were told to change them, then its certainly a starting point.

   i had a slight knocking noise coming from the front left. was the joint on the lower arm. so. so like the second post says start with that. i did not find it that bad a job once it was on a 2 post jack and i could access it easily enough. so best take it back to the garage and get them to check it out.

   yeah the mechanic that told me says it sounds like more than the ball joint now maybe the track rod ends but has gone abroad for a couple of months so was tring to hold out till then but i guess ill just find another garage to do it for me cause it feels horrible to drive now.
