    How much do you guys think spray painting would cost on a Saxo 1.1 with VT Body kit, If I did all the prep?

    By Prep I mean the paint removal, masking off, removing parts etc.

    Just on Average.

    Full car with window's ect removed I would guess at 500-600 from a good local sprayer.

    I see, hmm. May not be the best thing then really, seeming as im going to Uni and it won't be going with me.

    it cost me £300 for a full car respray.

    i payed 600 to have me bonnet sprayed my boot smoothed, new front bumper sprayed, if u looking at having it stripped right down and done again it could range from 300 to 1500 for really good respray, it also depends who u get to do it.

    my mate paid 1300 to have his bonnet and boot smoothed and sprayed so really depends on who does it mate.

    £800 minimum, prepping urself is not a good idea, it gives a bodyshop an excuss for a bad end result.

    OK, I want a VT Kit but I don't have that sort of money to waste. so Im going to do what everybody will hate. I will buy each part bit by bit, and paint them myself Arctic Steel. I know I will get people go But it will look awful, but I don't really care that much, as it looks awful when looked at closely =/
