  1. #1
Finally took one of my tacky stickers off one of my doors, after driving round for months with it peeling off. What do people think...shall i buy a new sticker of leave it as the paint? thanks.

This is one side with the sticker

This is the other I done today

and these are the profesional tools i used to do the job not lol

haha good job, i must get round to doing mine soon
  3. #3
You used a metal spatular to scrap the sticker off?
  4. #4
I think they look better when the pillars are black

but if its peeling off i suppose theres no harm in taking them off
  5. #5
    Better without stickers.

i'm going to do the same as mine are peeling too, there's a bloke on ebay that does carbon fibre replacements. thats what i'm planning to put on mine.
  7. #7
how long did it take? did you have to take the window rubber off?
  8. #8
id say better without the sticker mate. Its a nice colour your car and you dont want to hide it.
  9. #9
    yer looks much better without
  10. #10
with defo, looks smoother in a way
  11. #11
looks good. was looking for a job to do this weekend, off they come then.
  12. #12
i rekon they look atlot better without the stickers. good job
  13. #13
They are a total pain in the ass to get off, have had to do mine since they were bubbling too!
  14. #14
only took about an an hour for a careful job ally_vts and you dont have to take the rubber off if you heat it right it just peel off from under the seal
  15. #15
Got to do this to mine too, it's peeling off and looks crap.
  16. #16
Think mine will be getting debadged and this done this weekend thanks for the info duude
  17. #17
They look so much better with stickers off, but they are an arse to get off well stuck on there, and do need a good clean to get rid of the glue thats left behind, worth it tho
  18. #18
If they are really hard im gonna pay a bodyshop tech to do mine. I hate getting glue n tar poo off paintwork. Patience isnt my strongest point. lol
  19. #19
Do you Scrape all the Tar Glue stuff under with that Spatular ? . . . Dose it scratch any paint work ? . . . ,, And is T - Cut any good to use ? . . .
  20. #20
nah t-cut wont take it off, use some pertol on a rag ( not too much petrol ) and it will disolve the majority of the glue
  21. #21
I used white spirits to take the tacky of mine then just polish after looks a treat.
  22. #22
Looks much better without it imo
  23. #23
Mine just peeled off. Took ten min max for both sides. Then just tcutted all the sticky stuff off. Sorted.
  24. #24
certain colours look better with them, some better without them.
silver imo looks much better with the stickers on. mine are a really thick textured material thts quite hard rather than shiny vinyl, is that standard or not?
