60mm down with lower strut brace?!?!

    alrite, my saxo's dwn 60mm and my mate recently brought a lower strut brace for his fiesta zetec s and he said he could feel the difference, better cornering etc, but im thinking is my car to low for one? cause they sit lower than the rest of the under body. cheers

    you could probably get away with a sparco one as they dont hag as low as an omp but it will still be close

    but they allways are a bit closer to the floor lol

    if you've got lots of potholes and speedbumps around you may struggle. 50mm would be more comfortable but I know people who say they're alright at 60mm

    i wouldnt bother mate, i was lowered 60mm in my VTS and the lower brace used to catch the floor everywhere!! Horrible noise, very loud. I took it off after a few days and it was bent and battered so a definite no no

    Itll be fine if:

    a) you drive cautiously, yes you will have to take it very easy over speedbumps

    b) you have reasonable roads and dont experience crazy "off road" style farm tracks very often on your travels.

    cheers guys, think i might give it a miss, may cause more damage if it court on something solid, im sure just an upper one will be good enough.

    id advise not getting one mate.

    i had one at 50mm.....i dont have one anymore lol
