Saxo vtr-better than c2 vts

    I raced yesterday with c2 vts and he was in front of me when we were going straight but not much and then came the curves.i thought of buying that car but yesterday i got smarter when i saw that c2 is piece of s**t driving curves.someone please correct me if i am wrong?is it the car or the driver.

    c2 will be heavier than a saxo. might have an effect on performance. otherwise it would be the driver

    i think in some countries (such as croatia where he is from) the vtr is named the vts and the vts is called the caxo cup, i think lol

    c2 vts is quite a bit weightier than the Saxo. It also has a higher CoG compared to that if that Saxo which does have a slight effect on the handling however citroen have done pretty well to minimise the loss of funfactor.

    The C2 has to meet a whole more stricter EU requirments which ultimately means a compromise to the vehicle. As a result, the c2 vts has performance levels inbetween the Saxo vtr and Saxo vts

    Do you drive a VTS-16v or VTR-8v? becouse VTS is 120bhp and VTR is 90bhp.

    got a mate with a c2 vts and is know where near as fun as my saxo vts, c2 dont handle as well either

    highly disappointed with the c2vts, i thought it was pretty toss to be honest. also, you can slam them to the floor but they still look high because the roof sits so high. it was a design that wouldn't ever take off like the saxo did.

    i had a c2 vts a short while after i sold the saxo vts and was VERY disappointed by everything really

    the performance was well below the saxo vts and even thou is has 5bhp more that the saxo you tend to feel as if your drivin a furio lol (sorry to all furio owners)

    the only thing i believe to be an advantage in the c2 vts was the pedal space you had everything else was bad imo

    and the c2 vts' are well overpriced so if you got the money to buy one of them why not go out and buy a well looked after saxo vts and use the extra cash to modd it

    saxo's looks better imo than a c2

    my friend has a c2 and his car lets say handles like a boat compared to a saxo

    C2 is a more than capable car with the correct setup, but the saxo is a more agile car with a much better power to weight ratio.

    Unfortunately these days new cars have much stricter safety rules so the extra safety features make the car so much heavier.

    I know someone who races a c2 in stock hatch running a good 40bhp more than the saxos, but because of the extra weight they are pretty much on par.
