#4People ffs!!!!! this guy is not a great english speaker, drop him the slack ffs. He has brought nos hes not some cunt chav dreamer.
sorry mate but i dont know much about nos but maybe be more specific what bits on the engine mate? -
#5he isnt from this country, so stop been dicks to him.
You are better off asking the comapany you got the kit off
they will know more about it
Exactly what mods were on about yesterday. Ashley and Alex = week ban imo -
#7pm martin from tweeqd on here.
He sells the NOS kits and will be able to give the best advice from someone with experience. -
#8Have to agree, they are from abroad so should cut them some slack.
There are plenty of other threads by newbies that are much more deserving of the static rather than this one!
But would need more details if you can explain a bit better, although I appreciate your native language isn't English. -
#9to be honest the attempt at english is better than alot of peoples attempts on here at the moment.
And people have the audacity to accuse me of being rude before even looking at the way they post. -
#10and from the info im guessing there wasnt enough fuel for the mix so it ran lea and did some damage to the engine itself.
Like i say only a guess so we need some more info please -
#11id like to see a saxo with nos,
,shame about the engine
thats the location Skopje

#12yep sounds like the fuel and nos ratio is wrong

#13i'm running nitrous on my vts,
first of all find out what the numbers on your jets mean.
On mine, for a 50bhp shot, i put a 100 in the nitrous and a 50 in the fuel. This is what wizards of nos advised. After having this on a rolling road i found that this was running too rich as it got higher in the rpm.
The last thing you want to do is not have enough fuel, this will cause detonation.
The worst that happens when you are running too much fuel is the car bogs down as you come on nitrous.
the general rule is that the number jet you put in the nitrous, you halve the number to put in the fuel. Please don't take this as a fact but it is the way most nitrous kits work.
Make sure you start on a low horsepower shot eg. 25 bhp. for this you put a 50 in the nitrous and a 25 in the fuel. 25bhp increase isn't overwhelming but you definately know its on! If everything seems fine after running the nitrous then think about increasing the shot. First of all, make sure you compression check your engine as if there is a slight problem, eg. head gasket. the nitrous will break it almost instantly.
if you are confident everything is fine then proceed to a bigger shot and then re-test your engine. It is advised you run your engine on spark plugs that are 1 grade cooler. I've ran with standard plugs with little problems, it just fries them much quicker.
on standard internals, the vts engine will comfortably take a 50bhp shot and set up properly 75bhp. its advised you don't go above 75bhp.
For people who think nitrous is silly and can't go on a saxo, they clearly haven't read into it enough. Used properly nitrous is perfectly safe.
Any damage caused to your engine through nitrous is caused by under-fuelling. Or there was a problem already there. I hope this helps. -
#14Hi again. The jeting is ok i have no:31 for nitrous and 18 for fuel and is to lin. but when I go with 31 for nitrous and 22 for fuel is not rich. I hawe a chip on my saxo and a 2 grede cooler spark plugs. what do you think?
-
#15what exactly do the numbers on your jets mean then?
if you wanted 25bhp, what were you advised to use? -
#16If you want a 35bhp you must put a jet for nitrous and for fuel. For nitrous is No. 31 and for fuel is No.18
-
#17Do you run a wet kit or dry kit of nitrous? and NOS or NX?
-
#18Yes the mix is to lean. But when I put a biger jet for fuel the mix is lean again and I put a jet 2 sizes big. Thats the problem.
-
#19i run a wet kit made by wizards of nos. NOS and NX are american companies, the wizards of nos company are english, so i got that as its easier to get spare bits for it.
from the sounds of it, you have a problem with your fuel sloenoid. is it earthed correctly? without the engine running, take your fogger out of the inlet, and activate the switch to see if fuel sprays out but do not open the valve on the bottle, this way all that should come through is petrol. this is assuming you haven't already tried this. -
#20hello vlatko!how much did a NOS cost?with mechanic upgrading
-
#21No the fuel solenoid is ok. I tested like you sed to me but the fuel sprays. When I activate the nitrous the two solenoids works but is to low fuel. Do you hawe on your nitrous kit a FUEL SAFETY SWITCH? Besouse I don't hawe.
