Low bucket seats

   Well basically I have been looking at the TRS Seat:

   And using them with the OMP subframes:

   Basically what I want to know is, will I be able to get my seats low with this or is there a better way to get low seats without custom fabrication all over the place. I assume i'll be better with side mounted subframes, which I've never had before but will I? Someone enlighten me so I can do some impulse buying

   Cant comment on those exact seats, but ive got side mounted sparco sprint 5's and theyre low as fook. Very much the track style seating position and feel when driving

   I had the old sprints on standard subframes bodged up and they were low but I need to go lower haha.

   you can get seats pretty low on frames i had my corbea forzas on sparco frames in my 1.1 and i sat with my shoulder about 1 inch above the bottom of the window on the door (im just under 6ft tall)
   
   best way is bars welded between the doorsill and the tunnel
   can get tham basically as low as you want then

   Aye I saw that in the S1400 Prog thread but it seems a little over the top, might be the way to go, cheers for input all.

   its quite a common thing mate but means you cant revert to standard
   ill see if i have a pic that shows how low mine were in the car

   ive got sparco sprint 5s with side mounts which are pretty low as well
   
   the side mounts have been fabricated though. i would get you a pic to show how low, but i have just taken them both out

   cobra sidewinders are designed to be low down.....
