#2It depends what you are going for, performance gains wise neither are very good and if you want more noise out of the exhaust without buying a new one stick a large screw driver down the end and wave it around to bash the baffles up, this will make it louder but in my opinion noise isnt everything
-
#3Bacboxes need to wear in. And none are really loud unless you decat and de silence the rest of the system
-
#5baffles is the inside of the back box???Quote:if you want more noise out of the exhaust without buying a new one stick a large screw driver down the end and wave it around to bash the baffles up, this will make it louder but in my opinion noise isnt everything
stupid question but im not shure -
#6you need to let new ones break in, my powerflow at first wasnt that loud, but now its got a well nice sound to it.
-
#7is the back box joined to the standard centre pipe? if so there is a centre section of baffles that can be removed. either by cutting and welding a straight piece of exhaust pipe or by buying a super sprint centre pipe (about 70-80 quid)
-
#8its a 1.1 i got a sportex 4" back box and centre pipe the pipe didnt remove anything and wouldnt fit proply so its on standerd middle atm untill i get it welded on
-
#9Cheeky tip, you can get a std exhaust pipe for a 2001 on furio which is the same as the supersprint race section, no silencers or cat and its straight from backbox to manifold. Only thing is its not as big a bore as the SS. But on a 1-1 its not going to matter. And the great thing about this pipe is its like 14 quid plus vat brand new from citroen. Will be much louder and raspyer with that

#10may invest after mot tym
