hard to select gears

    hi i have a vtr when i go out. for the first couple of minutes its very hard to select gear.after a couple of minutes when the car is warmed up it's all good.but when it's cold first thing in the morning it can be a real pain

    if its fine when it warms myt need a change of gear box oil
    not 100% this would help but oil does thicken when cold and thin when warmer so it make sense

    a lot of people service the car but often forget about the gearbox

    as said might aswell change the gear oil, doesnt cost much an isnt really all the difficult

    Where is the top up for the gearbox oil on a vtr?

    had exactly the same problem with myn, was a 1.1 but probly same thing wrong, i found i jsut dropped out the gearbox oil and re-filled it it was fine after that
