#6good stuff, aslong as you dont think its real and go telling people you have a 143bhp vtr thats near standard. You dont want to look like a tit dude.Quote:i will when its done, is going in and being ported and poshed and camed thuresday fingercrosed

Decent cammed 8v should see 120-130bhp -
#7That is a bloody fast VTR!!!!!
It's impossible to accurately say what power you are transmitting through the wheels as you measure it at the fly on a power run then the negative inertia/drag on decelleration is converted to give you your true power at the wheels.
I'd say your VTR is currently running no more than 108bhp at the fly -
#8i know you going think i am a chav but it does keep up with my mates vts and them corsa 1.8 sri i dont know y it does
-
#12What were you timing your 0-60 runs with? My Mk1 VTR is just over 100 bhp and is mid to high 8s to 60, that's with 4 branch, system, induction kit and a lightly worked head.
Plus, you only need VTS power for around 7s to 60, which is what, 120 bhp? -
#13Your vtr will prob only have around 80hp at wheels if not maybe just under that..
