just fitted supersprint back box

    just fitted my supersprint back box

    yet to fit the manifold and centre pipe

    got the manifold but not got the centre pipe yet


    i started the car after i fitted the supersprint rear box and its VERY quiet?

    is that because its still got the cat in place and now a straight through pipe?

    or because i havent fitted my 4-2-1 manifold yet?

    yeah but i just gave it a few revs and it still doesnt seem loud

    but like i said its running standard manifold with cat and standard centre pipe

    im guessing it wont be at its true park untill its running the 4-2-1 and centre section really?

    break it in a little. have you driven it yet though or just sat at idle?

    is it a race bbox or a road setup?

    i just left it at idle as the car is off the road at the moment

    i think its the race one not too sure??

    Yeah its the race one, dont worry it will get louder, mine took about 3-4 days of driving till mine got properly loud and with a 4-2-1 mani and centre section it makes it raspy and loud and fook when hard accelerating, have fun

    The standard centre pipe has a silencer in it, it wont be loud untill you get rid of the standard pipe.

    It doesn't sound loud at all tho Desmo... I recon it's as loud as a standard box! lol

    with the rest of the exhaust, centre section and manifold it sounds very nice indeed dont worry

    Thats because the bore of the exhaust is only 50mm, a big 100mm one like a sportex is a bit like an amplifier. Remember group n exhausts cant be louder than 98db, basically its not designed to make it louder. The race race section is the bit that makes it loud

    as said its a little like a standard exhaust at the mo lol but as stated its brand new so needs to be worn in

    will be getting the race section for it aswell tho and i got a 4-2-1 manifold to fit
