vtr with random misfire...help...!

   my saxo vtr has developed a misfire its very random just happens when it feels like it theres no pattern to it really the engine management light isnt on!, i have changed the coil pack, spark plugs, fuel filter cleaned the fuel system but it is still there,
   its doing my head in! lol, can any one shed any light on this?

   mines doing the same, cant figure out whats wrong, changed everything, diagnostics throw up nothing, so sent the ecu off for testing i will let you no if thats my problem, mine only does it when its up to heat

   if you changed everything electrical like the sensors and had it on a diagnosis machine, it will be the ecu, ive had encounters with this problem, and ecu seems to be one the most comman...
   
   i not that... then make sure the induction kit/air filters etc arnt glogged up

   try replacing some of the sensors like the lambda sensor, coolant temp sensor or the idle control valve/stepper motor

   mine was a simple coil pack problem
