Non biological washing powder

   Have read in a mechanic magazine that this can be used to clean/flush out a mucky coolant system. I know they recommend it in the magazine but im not 100% convinced anyone else heard of doing this?

   Don't see why not, as long as you rinse out the system with water afterwards should be ok.
   
   You can get special cleaners for the coolant system too, only a few quid from Halfords.

   Was going to do this when i got my car back but no need now, when the repair place stripped down my car to fix it they found a small hole in my radiator and now they are going to replace it.
