VTR Bodykit!

  1. #1
Whats the best way to fix a vtr bodykit to standard mk1 saxo? would a shed load of adhesive be enough to secure it or would it also need to be bolted aswell?

    Any replies kindly appreciated
    Thanks

With mine we used an equivilent to tiger seal which we got from a body shop, dont use anything from the shops as it wont be strong enough

used 2 tubes on the whole kit, as well as using clips and drilling holes. see my progress thread and then click on"the vt kit fitting"

alot of work and not for the faint hearted

cheers for the quick reply m8 , do you think i could attach with just tiger seal? its the one i mite be buying on e-bay some of the clips have snapped so that what i was wondering if i could put straight on, it shouldn't be too much of a problem as my grandad restores cars etc so he would probably have an idea of how to do it too but help from you guys would be great aswel because you have past experience , he restores old Rileys etc

As above, can only be bought on eBay

And if the clips have snapped you can buy them from citroen, think they charge 10p each for the small plastic ones and a bit more for the metal clip holders

tiger seal is the bollocks!! it will hold any trims on. wilco have it if you have one near you. the tube of tiger seal wont last long once its opened so its best to use it asap, the tube will go off in about a week so you then end up cutting the tube open lol.
