cam for a vtr?? iv already searched

hi guys before you all say i have already done a search but not really found a concrete answer..

basically i have a mk2 vtr supersprint 421 and full race exhaust and raceland induction kit..

now i want to cam it and get it remapped.. and i just want to know what are the best cams for performance..not bothered about price also where can i get them from??

i have piper 285's and made a 122bhp with the cat still in the manifold on a boiling hot day.

imo the remap is much more important. that's what really bring the cam into it's own.

cool so is that withou your car being remapped??

where did your piper 285's from?

also are the newman cams on the group buy any good??

after the remap only mods i had were ashley system piper285s obviously, k n air filter and a vernier pulley. plus a skimmed head.

i bought my cams second hand with 5000 miles on them. so got them quite cheap.

haven't heard about newmans, all i know is that 122bhp is a good figure for the mods i had. but as said before cams are only half of the equation a good remap is essential. alot of garages take short cuts with remaps or are shite at it.
