is my supersprint backbox meant to be sticking out this far ??

    how is it a mot failure ?? if i cut a inch of the tip of it will it affect the exhaust note ??

    If you fitted it correctly, then i would say yes to.

    Dont no about getting more raspier and popping more often, you only got a 1.1. It may do after the exhaust is 'bedded' in a little

    looks alright to me mine sticks out quite far to, is it connected the supersprint centre section to? or OE?

    If you want more rasp you'll need a manifold, decat & straight through pipe. Sounds like you've just fitted the backbox with the standard exhaust in place?

    well im not expecting it too be mint, ive just fitted it today, im just wondring if i cut a inch of the end of the exhaust will it affect the exhaust note, because imo it sticks out a bit far

    I dont have a supersprint on mine, a guy from Edinburgh bought one and i had a quick shot with it on my car & it was very loud & very raspy! That was with a 4-2-1 manifold and the straight through pipe & supersprint backbox from Kam!

    Cutting the exhaust tip wont change the tone much, if at all!

    Can't see why cutting an inch off the end would have any bad effect on the exhaust.

    will have no effect cutting off an inch from the tip.

    With the o/e centre and manifold its never going to sound like a rally car. Give it a little time to bed in and it will get better

    it needs to wear in tbh, than it should sound a bit better, i havent cut it lol, im keeping it as it is, just need to sort out that the cat join with the down pipe, it need sealing properly (exhaust putty), raceland manifold next

    nah exhaust looks fine to me but someone has posted a thread somewhere on here about what is checked on an mot so if u have a look it should say but i shouldnt think it be a problem m8!
