   hi all i was thinkin about puttin a turbo on my saxo 1.1 and was just wondering if it has been done before and does it work.

   been there done that worth doing if you can do all the work yourself. VTS conversion easier if you know didly squat, Sunderz has bought my cituning kit and management to go on his 1.1 until it dies then will go on his VTR.
   
   plenty of threads on this look back a few pages and you will find plenty of random turbo threads

   That would be an interesting project... Albeit a bit pricey for what will probably a small amount of power!
   Turbo selection will be critical.

    yeah tell me about i love how every one thiks it's raw power..it aintthat it's about testing diff things and see what can be done...there only a few 1.1 turbo's....why follow the crowd??

    i think a 1.1 turbo idea is good. and like gav said, if it does go pop then its no hardship to get 1.4/1.6 in there for descent power.

    dam right and danny you know that lad cobblers who did his on £500 proper missing loads of stuff, well for not much more ie less than £800 he can see me turbo mine haha!
    
    tbh lads if you are looking at turboing read the 2 guides in the FAQ will give you all the basics, budget at least 1.5k diy and 2.5k+ if going to a company.
    
    DO NOT buy anything cheap shite from ebay will only end in tears, if you wan't a cheap adapter manifold give me a shout steviet got a kit from my mate and was happy with it

    141 lol yeah shame that thread on 106oc aint on anymore after the forum update gti man got tad angry. tbh titch doesn't matter how many time you tell people they will always go mmm not worth it 16v it why didn't you 16v turbo it etc lol
    
    oh well at least Sunderz has got the kit and going for it, as for mine another boosted hybrid is on the cards lol
