   which performance gearbox would be the best for my vtr?? cituning are doin a dog 4.2 close ratio with lsd but its 4k!!

   missed a dog box on SSC a little while ago. Went for about £1k I think..

   u can get a brand new be3 for £3200 mate.are u going to be running much power mate,if not why get the gearbox

   if you have a vtr and want a closer ratio box then put a vts box in it.

   I'm after a VTS box for my VTR turbo now (as the gearbox is on its way to gearbox heaven).
   Yes, that will defo be a nice closer ratio

   Be3 has a little more ability to take the power but its not the ultimate answer, wont be long before someone breaks a be3

   what about a xantia gearbox,would this be any good,i know jamsport have started putting these in and say they work very well.saxoal may have vts gearbox if interested

    vts gearbox anything from 175-250 usual from scrappy. try a 1.1 box as same gearkit but a little bit cheaper, don`t ask why
    
    i`ve seen a fair few broken be3/be4 boxes ratty.
    
    no matter what box you have, the clutch is weakest point and even if you have the strongest possible box available if not got a clutch that can cope then may aswell just burnt the thousands spent on uprated box.
