Advice please

   Got my car back to day after it was repaired after an accident but there is some damage to my skirts that wasnt there before but they wont accept it was them (nevermind not the problem) the lacquer has started to peel off my side skirts its really bad so i was thinking could i just sand them back and do it again or will it mess up the paint underneath or will they need fully respraying?

   i think you would have to use really fine sand paper to remove the laqure then laqure it again...
   
   dont take my word for it though, im no expert at spraying lol...

   you need to feather the peeling laquer till it stops
   leaving an edge that you can feel
   then redo
   failing that flat with a fairly agressive w/d
   then repaint

   Could always buy some new ones from a scrappy if all else fails

   Can never find the right colour. I have all the stuff i need lying round the garage if i can do as above so it wont cost a penny.

   you wanna really really lightly wet and dry with water the slgihtest top layer of clear till you start getting red drips of the paint coming down your hand lol then time to dry clean and clear coat
