my vtr fan!

   ive just had a really horrible thought!!!
   
   ive had my vtr a few months now but today i looked at the front of it and i could see my radiator
   
   i just looked at a picture on here and it shows a fan where i could see my radiator!
   
   does that mean my vtr may not have a fan!!!!

   where the fan is on it mine doesnt have one there you can just see the radiator, and on the left of that fan i have like a plastic skin
   
   
   where does the fan plug into?

   maybe the fan is behind my radiator between the engine and the radiator
   
   
   also just a quick question... ontop of my alternator there seems to be a plug that doesnt have anything attatched to it, any ideas what it may be?

   on some VTR's the fan is behind the rad - mine was
