    need a bit of info

im looking at getting a vts lump in my vtr, its a single pin ecu, 99 mk1 black top

doing my engine swap's easy i no, but me other half wants my engine in her lil project car .

hers is a 1.0L Mreg ax, single pin ecu i believe and we want my vtr engine in it.
how difficult would this be to do help the following points answered plz

    engine mounts the same?

will we need vtr fuel pump coz its a 1.0 or isit poss to adjust it?

    ecu?

    driveshaft's the same or not?

exhaust mani and downpipe: will they join existing system or will we need vtr stuff?

and if there's any thing else you could think of let me no please

    cheers

the 1.0 pump will work but if the VTR one is going spare then chuck it in the AX

you will need the ECU from the VTR aswell as the loom, you will need to wire this in to the ax loom so you have ignition feeds and so the dial work but its only a few wires and can be done in about 10 mins

the shafts are the same and you can even use the ax box and shafts
the only thing i would be carefull about is the ax will be 3 stud and although it will all work the brakes wont really be up to the job of the VTR

the ax centre exhaust will join up to the vtr down pipe without any problems
