How to add neons Interior?

   hello ,i just want to know, how do i add neons inside my car? so when the door opens the neon goes on? and when i close the door they go off, just like the interior light. also where can i get these neons too?
   Are they expensive?

   Not being funny mate but neons are a stupid mod that was cool maybe 5 or so years ago but not now plus your just adding wieght to the car but if your really set on it you can get a different color interior bulb i.e. Blue or red maybe others im not sure,

   I wouldn't mind getting some white ones to go in the footwell but i'd wire them up to the door switch so when you open the doors they'd come on. My mums laguna has them standard, looks good but would only have them in white.

   Lol i mean the little ones, such as 12" sorry wasn't propperly explained. The 12" white ones too i suppose, just giving extra light inside when door is opened,. The different colour bulbs aren't light enough, So.. do you know how i can wire them to the door?

   You would splice into the wiring for the courtesy light by taking off the pillar switch finding the live feed & splice you neon wire into it.

   all my mates who have footwell neons just have a cig lighter multi tap thing then have cig lighter neons, then as soon as u turn the ingition on the lights come on

    the little switch near the door hinges will need to be wired into
    
    2 wires, one to each connection of the neon (cant remember which way round they go)
    
    and to the guy who poseted about adding weight to the car.. wtf are you on about!

    ive put up a guide on how to fit them if anyone else needs any help fittin them
    
    with regards to fitting footwell ones, wtf guys. come on! You dont need to be pluggin them into the door switches and stuff. Best thing is put them on a ignition live, earth them from the screw by the red bonnet release handle (undo it and hide wiring behind carpet and by the fuse board) and it should come with a switch. You dont want them on all the time, especially during the summer. Would annoy me loads having them on in the baking heat. Waste of neons.
    If anyone wants me to, ill quite happily post up a guide on how to do those too...

    NOTHING WRONG WITH FOOTWELL NEONS!!! lol i have them and they look pretty cool at night. took me 10 mins to fit and a total of about 6 or 7 quid and came in about 3 days. Spot on!!!

    Lol I have them on a switch. Cost me a tenner and took 10 mins to fit. They look ok but I never have them on. I wanted to do the dials blue to match everything but never got round to it lol.
