Companys for a R to S conversion

    Im building up a secret spec vts engine atm and was going to get Ross at RCD to install it for me. But he's now buggered off and bodged stuff up.
    Soooo can people suggest companies that could carry out the fitting of an S engine and box. and the fitting of an uprated ECU and mapping.
    Yes i know im going to have to have deep pockets but moneys my worry not yours lol

    I think you'll find plenty of people who can drop the engine in for you - its not mechanically difficult, you just need to find someone who's going to be able to do your engine management for whatever mods you have got planned.

    frankee may be up for the job on a cheap basis failing that i know for sure of a guy who lives in gillingham dorset wgho will put he engine in and wire it up for £250

    also Ricky P has worked for citroen, peugeot and renault so imo i would say hese really good at what he does has a lot of knowledge in this.
    getting my vtr cammed after christmas and i will be taking it to him.
    im sure loads of members on here would also reccommened him.

    Hey guys thanks for the replys. Think ill be taking it to rickP some time in 2009. He seems a sound bloke who knows what he's doing. Dont really care how far i got to travel to be honest as its worth it if the jobs done properly. Plus we can borrow a trailer and i can use the mothers car to tow it (08 ford mondeo 2ltr, lovely and comfy lol).

    Thanks for the help people, look out for MrN and its new heart in 2009, should be puting out some big bhp figures. Only thing im letting on is that it will be N/A (none of that charger stuff lol)

    Dunno if you have read the thread with the whole RCD thing but i would tread carefully until the situation with him and his company is sorted tbh

    yes i have read the entire thread about him. I spoke to him on the phone many a time and seemed like an ace guy and he only lived down the road from me. dont know why he's moved and not tolled anyone but it seems that he has no intention of giving any money back so thats why i made this thread so i can find people who are trust worthy and reliable.
