   How much does a standard vtr/vts weigh?
   
   How much weight can be lost from stripping the interior?

   Haynes manual says 920kg for VTR and 935kg for VTS.
   
   
   Define 'stripping the interior' - as some may define that as more hardcore than others.
   
   One bucket seat, welded seat rails, no dash, no heater matrix, sound proofing behind dash, carpet, doorcards rear 3/4 panels, doorskins, glass>polycarbonite, seats out, carpet out, doorcards, stripped wiring.

   So far, all of the rear is stripped door panels, boot panels, seats, seat belts.
   
   Front door cards are out, polycarbonate windows are going in.
   
   Also have 2 cobra buckets in front

   i have no idea of the answer to your question.but i have weighed everything that has gone into and or out of my car.its far from hardcore,i just like to know how much lighter or heavier it is now as to what it was when i got it.

   if you go extremely far there can be a lot of weight saved
   the sound deadening and carpets are suprisingly heavy and there are little covers that arent needed ect
   but remember that doing just the unterior pushes the centre of grevity forward and makes the rear twitchy as there isnt any weight there

   if you are confident cutting metal out the car you can save even more weight

   balls to cutting metal out, not yet anyway lol.
   
   I just want to get rid of all the stuff thats not needed, think ill Keep heater matrix etc.

   in my last one and will be done in current one shortly i stiped all interior and took seats out temp, revove all sound deadening as it weights alot cut metal out back off tailgate of just go for fibre glass tail gate and bonnet
