rear axle change what is needed

   if i want to swap my 1.1 axle for a one with disks what will i need except from the axle its self.
   do the brake lines fit straight in to the disks.
   and what about the hand brake cable will i need a different one.

   if you find out what you need let me know i want to change mine, so far ive got the axle the handbrake cables and some new bushes

   You will need, vt hand brake cables, you will also need new brake lines made too as the 1.1 lines will be too long, and you should really get new discs and pads for the calipers!

   you shouldnt reuse brake lines as they become brittle over time, tbh for the price of having brake lines made up you might aswell get them made! dont cost the earth lol

    Ive just changed from drum to disc ream beam. I got new pads, discs, hand brake cable and brake lines. I used the old brake pipes and bushes as they were still in good condition. Then its just a matter of fitting and bolting everything up..
