FAO anyone running big power ** Helix clutch group buy**

  1. #1
Right then people i have been doing some research on clutches since my clutch group by feeler thread. I have noticed a few people wanting big power from s/c and t/c conversions.

Now i have found a clutch that will suit everyone, its rated to 460 lb ft torque and is a twin plate clutch. You will need to have the flywheel rebated and mod the release bearing onto the carry of the oe one but this isnt to difficult.

The price at the moment for 1 unit is £635 which compared to other companies makes £100 saving.

Please if you interested put your names down, i dont want this group by dragging on for month and months either.

    Thanks
    Dean

I only need one more person to make 5 for the group buy, list so far:

    1. Saxmad88
    2. Rich-gti (106oc)
    3. Shuan106gti (106oc)
    4. Saxosteve (ssc)

These are able to pay as soon as there is a 5th member.

Just to add to what ryan said, I have set up the group buy via rally nuts. The payment will be made to them and NOT to myself. We have done it this way so it provides safer payment to the buyer and also there are no paypal funds etc.

If the price for 1 unit is £635, what is the price for 5, or do you mean that is the price for one item if 5 or more are ordered?

This was the rough price given to me buy rally nuts just so i could put a figure down to save people asking about price etc. I have had an email off of rally nuts with a propper price and this is £641, This is for Twin plate clutch cover, 2x cerametallic plates and the release bearing.

So if you join the group buy the cost of the clutch including vat and delivery will be £641. This is over £100 cheaper than anywhere else i have found. Even asking for a group buy price at places this type of dicount is not given.

OK thanks for clarifying that for me, as much as i would like to join the group buy, i am not in the position to spend that sort of money at the moment right before christmas.

Another question - Are you going to be charged 15% VAT or 17.5% VAT? - It will make about a tenner difference i should think on that sort of price... Just a query, that the other members of the group buy may be interested in knowing the answer to...

Right no we are going to be charged 15% vat rather than 17.5% this makes the new price:

    £627.76

    Is anyone interested?
