   where did you get them from and how much as i realy want a set, the proper ones not the hid look bulbs, but the ones with ballasts etc

   You cant use a halgen headlight with xenon bulbs basically.

   what ones are legal? not HID, the other ones. i cant remember the name.
   
   i'd like to change the headlights on my golf as they shine a bit yellowy at the moment and i'd like them to shine more white with a blue shine like some new cars have. can you just change the bulbs or do you need some sort of conversion kit? i want it to be completely legal.

   Pretty sure the blue tint ones are HIDs which are ok for cars that have the headlamp designed for those bulbs but the Saxo standard ones are only designed for the yellowish halogen bulbs. Using the Xenon bulb in the incorrect lamp gives more indirect light causing glare for drivers coming towards you.

   just get ultra's xenon look blubs have them in mine they are slightly blue but will be coming out as i think a white light is better and you can see more

    ive got angel eyes with 8k xenons in mine 8000 is the limit any more an its illegal but they still glow quite blue an look spot on i got them off ebay for 65quid an have never had any shit off the pigs for them
